END! What have I done over the past twenty-four hours with out the use of my cell phone, internet, and TV. I am taking a lifeguard training class this weekend so I left and stayed at the gym until nine then I met a friend a a pre arranged time and place to hang out before going to bed. I was up again at eight this morning to continue my lifeguard training class until three this afternoon. At which time I came back to my dorm and read a book for another class and began to work on a paper due Monday. So going twenty-four hours without technology wasn't to bad.

One challenge that people all around this country will face in the next four years is health care. Everyone right now will tell you that the system is broken, and that it doesn't work. Unfortunately many Americans today want to put no effort into fixing or changing the problems with the current American health care.
Now that we have a new President-elect Obama, one would hope that the heath care plans he promise Americans will be passed in congress. If history is any indicator then to be successful it will take him more than four years to accomplish this. The last time something similar to this health care bill existed it was a slow moving bill that was eventually vetoed by the Senate.
In my opinion health care is a right not a responsibility. It is not the responsibly of a small child to pick parents that will able to pay for his or her health care. It should be that little sick child right to be able to got to the hospital and treated with or without knowledge of his parents financial situation. As a ward of the state, criminal on death row have to be given full health benefits, but an ordinary citizen who has worked is whole life would not be consider for life saving surgery because of their health insurance.
As citizens I think the best way to curd this from getting out of control, or at least more so than it already has, is to look at other countries health care systems and using that as a model to design one that will fit Americans here at home. Other countries have made it work, the only problem stopping it form working here is a willingness not to at least try.
This problem not only affects me but all of my family and friends. I know that for my parents health care coverage has gotten more expensive over that last few years. I have friends that have no health coverage and they are not going to be going to the doctor unless it is a life or death situation. If done the right way this country can improve health care, in fact at this point America must do something lest we become known as the country with the best doctors, that know one can afford.

The ethics of the video games are not the best they encourage the killing of taxi drivers as well as civilian, and some studies have shown that this is tricking over into real life and causing the unnecessary deaths.

The ethics of this video game are encouraging players of the video game grand theft auto to commit crimes such as stealing cars and robbing people. This game world however is slowly becoming the real world as some studies suggest.

Grand theft Auto is a controversial game which exploits and degrades cultural identities as well as increases racial and stereotypes.

The second artical I read I found extreamly intresting. Video games inparticualry Grant Theft Auto recive bad reputations for being a "violent" game, some news storys even accuse it of being the cause for violence. This artical displays the other side to violent video games. A family of five was driving when all of a sudden their Jeep fliped over. 11-year-old Audrey Plique who was an avide gamer reacted calmly to the situation first pulling her sisters out of the car then waving another car down for more help. Her mother says that because of Grand Theft Auto 4 she knew that the car could catch fire or explode, which is why she acted calmly and quickly to save her family.
